Committees

Chamber committees:

Government Affairs & Economic Development – Considers, reviews and acts on local, state and national issues that directly affect the Pullman community.

Artesians (chamber ambassadors) – this committee is under revision with a goal of relaunching in spring 2022

Cabaret – Cabaret is the major fund raising event for the chamber. Each spring, this formal affair has verbal and silent auctions, live music, dinner and dancing. This group is always looking for people with a creative flair.

4th of July – This group plans and coordinates strategies for this great community celebration that is held each year in Sunnyside Park. Activities include fireworks, live entertainment, BBQ, concessions, children’s games and more.

National Lentil Festival – This two-day, community event is held in late August each year. Activities include: Live Entertainment, Grand Parade, 5k Fun Run, Lentil Lane Food Court, Lentil Gallery Arts & Crafts,  Lentil Land Children’s Area, Beer/Wine Garden, Free Lentil Chili, Cook-Off Competition, Sports Tournaments and more.

Chamber supported initiatives:

Pullman 2040 – Engages all community members to develop a collective vision for the Pullman community and the strategies to accomplish that vision.

Town Gown Collaborative – A joint effort between the City of Pullman, Pullman Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, & Washington State University, formed for the purpose of strengthening ties between community and university for mutual benefit.

Downtown Pullman Association – The mission of this organization is to lead and advocate for the vitality of Downtown Pullman by promoting commerce, culture and celebration.

Pullman Young Professionals – Aims to shape the future of our community by supporting the growth of young professionals based in Pullman, WA. The program creates opportunities for young leaders to build relationships, expand their skills and advance their careers, while continuing to promote and build the City of Pullman to a flourishing hub of economic development. **looking for new leadership to continue this group with a revision and relaunch in spring 2022

Pullman Farmers Market- The mission of the Pullman Farmers Market is to provide a place for the community to acquire high-quality, locally grown food and products, while giving local farmers, producers, and crafters a venue to connect directly with consumers.
