Pullman Parks

Pond at Sunnyside Park

Interwoven within Pullman are 14 parks with over 95 acres of land. Each has its own unique features and recreational opportunities.

Reaney Park
Gray Lane & Lentil Lane (1.64 acres)
Home of the National Lentil Festival and the Reaney Park summer concert series, this park contains outdoor pools, a gazebo, playground area, picnic tables, a BBQ area and a horseshoe pit.
Kruegel Park
Side & South St. (7.92 acres)
This park was donated to the city in 1958 and contains a spacious picnic area, BBQ area, full sized tennis courts, expansive playground, small football field, baseball diamond, soccer field and volleyball standards.
Sunnyside Park
Cedar Street (25 acres)
Home to Pullman’s annual 4th of July community celebration. This park contains a picnic and bbq shelter that overlooks 2 ponds and a waterfall. The facilities include: tennis courts, baseball diamond, volleyball standards, Frisbee golf course, and walking trails. The city’s garden plots are also located here.
Lawson Gardens
Derby Street Near Dilke (13 Acres)
The beautiful formal gardens include a reflecting pool, gazebo, seasonal flowers, rose and perennial gardens. This lovely park is popular for summer weddings and may be rented by calling the City of Pullman Parks & Recreation Department at 509-338-3227.
Terre View Park
325 NW Terre View Dr (3.25 Acres)
There is a BBQ and picnic shelter located near the children’s playground facilities, public restroom. There is also a wetland pond area perfect for bird watching.
McGee Park
Lybecker St. off of Stadium Way (3.04 Acres)
There is a BBQ and picnic shelter located near children’s playground facilities. There is also a baseball diamond and a fenced basketball court.
Military Hill Park
End of Hall Drive (25 Acres)
Adjoining Pullman High School, there are 6 tennis courts, 2 baseball diamonds, playfields, playgrounds, a picnic shelter and BBQ area.
Harrison Tot Lot
Harrison Street (.233 Acres)
This park is designed for very young children and includes a shaded family picnic area.
Conservation Park
799 NW Darrow St
The City’s old nursery made a transformation to a non-improved natural setting. Gravel and dirt walking trails lead to a bench overlooking the Palouse River. A great place to jog or walk your dog.
Itani Park
950 SW Crestview Dr
Donated to the City in 1997 by Rafik and Mary Sue Itani, this natural linear park has a large number of trees and shrubs planted. A Gazebo and gravel pathways make this a great place to walk your dog or birdwatch.
Woodcraft Park
South Street (.84 Acres)
This is a peaceful picnic area with beautiful shade trees in the southeast part of town.
Spring Street Park
located at Spring Street and Pearl (2.75 acres)
This park includes a skateboard facility, expansive lawn, and public restroom. Benches located along the tranquil Palouse River for patrons to enjoy a quiet moment alone. Links to the Chipman Trail.
City Playfield
Riverview Road (8.66 Acres)
This is the main facility for Pullman’s summer sports activities. It contains the city baseball diamonds, a jogging track, exercise stations, volleyball standards, batting cage and picnic tables.
City of Pullman RV Park
Riverview Road & South St. (24 spaces)
All 24 spaces have full water, electricity, sewer and cable hook-ups. It is open from April to November. A few tent spaces are also available. Contact the City of Pullman to make reservations 334-4555.
Bill Chipman Palouse Trail
Between Pullman and Moscow along HWY 270
The seven miles of smooth pathway is for all ages and abilities and connects Pullman and Moscow. This trail is great for walking, biking, skating or jogging and is open dawn to dusk year-round.
