Pullman Chamber Vice President Pete Chittenden with Lewis Alumni Centre staff

This August, the Pullman Chamber is shining our member spotlight on the Washington State University Alumni Association and the Lewis Alumni Centre!

The Washington State University Alumni Association’s mission is to create meaningful connections between alumni, students, parents, friends and communities in support of WSU’s goals.

In Pullman, you will find them at the Lewis Alumni Centre, a community landmark. The building began its life as a cattle barn in the 1920s supporting agriculture at the university before the Alumni Association transformed it into a premier event venue. Reopened in 1989, the Centre retains many of its unique features while serving as a hub for alumni, students, community members and visitors.

Stop by and see the team at the Alumni Centre! Join them for Crimson & Gray Gatherings before select home football games, celebrate at Taste of WSU, attend the Homecoming Pep Rally, or help ring the Victory Bell after Coug football wins. One of WSU’s most beloved traditions, the Victory Bell also rings for graduates during commencement celebrations as they mark the next chapter of their Cougar journey.

If your travels take you outside of Pullman, you can find the Alumni Association hosting events across the country, including football pregames in away game cities, watch parties and other Cougar gatherings.

As proud members of the Pullman community, the Lewis Alumni Centre are honored to welcome neighbors, visitors, friends and Cougs to campus. They invite you to stop by, host an event in their building, attend an event or simply discover a piece of WSU history.

Pay them a visit at 1 Alumni Way in Pullman and learn more at alumni.wsu.edu or call 509-335-2586.
