Tips for talking to kids about school closures and COVID-19 from the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
We have been humbled by the outpouring of offers to help our students during this school closure, Pullman is a supportive community!
If you wish to help, there are a few ways you can help support students. While our students are away from school, they can benefit from having school supplies and activities at home!
We are accepting donations of:
School supplies:

- Crayons
- Markers
- Pencils

- Colored pencils
Other items our students can benefit from:

- Puzzles
- Play-Doh
- Board games
- Dice
- Flashcards
- Playing cards
- Craft supplies
- Stickers
- Coloring books
- Construction paper
- Books
These items will be made available to students at our schools during meal pick-ups!

Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, Food Service will continue with the closure of schools. Each school will be open for students/families to pick up meals (breakfast and lunch). Additionally, Pullman Public Schools will send vans out into the community to deliver meals to designated locations. Packaged meals will be “grab and go” style and will include both breakfast and lunch. These meals are available for free to ANY student, regardless of free or reduced meal qualification; no registration or forms are required. Families may pick up meals at any school that is convenient for them; they do not have to pick up meals from the school their student attends.
All schools will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. for meal pick-ups. Please note that cafeterias will not be open for students to eat in.
Click here for more information about where meals can be picked up or where meals will be delivered.
Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, all Pullman Public Schools and the district office are closed to the public until April 27, 2020.
If you need to speak with a building principal or district personnel please contact the school’s office or the district office by phone or email. Thank you!
